after last night's reunion dinner, some of us went for a mid-night movie. we caught Memoirs of a Geisha. i'll give it 86 out of 100 stars. apperciation of the Japanese culture would make the movie enjoyable. culture junkie! got home at 3am.

CNY goodies. mmmm :)

somehow, i think i will enjoy meeting my relatives that i only see once a year. and the food.

today, i was listening to Carrie Underwood's country album "some hearts". pretty impressive.

coiffeur

My hair droops and dangles. i am like a make-shift broom that sweeps the detritus that gravity binds to the floor. Out of fear that ticks might make my hair their home, i visit a barber.

I make a silent entrance into the salon, but the buzz of electronic shavers shroud me with insecurity. i wet my pants. but my embarrassment shall not be disclosed.

I sit with sublime patientce for my haircut. 1 hour. no-one cuts my hair, i only get undesired stares and frowns from strangers who fashion the latest hairstyles. i am irate, my head boils with rage. still no barber comes to my desperate need. the air-conditioner overhead blows my draping locks.

I decide to make an exit. the buzz of the electronic shavers still resound through my mind.

some time later (i shall not disclose the time-frame), it dawns upon me that not only did i fail to make an appointment for a haircut, but i also failed to cut my hair. i am a loser. i pace around my living quarters, cleaning the dusty, dirty floor.

the following graphics have been scanned by me because i choose to spend my time doing so, instead of doing my ISO, LA A and B, IHS, Chinese and Math work... BEWARE THE GREEN BEAR!!roar

my internet connection is not good at all. gotta get it fixed. urgh.

art class in the afternoon is BORING. as much as i hate to use that word, it was, frankly, a waste of time. i did not gain any what so ever useful knowledge or insparation. if only i got to know more peeps in my class, whom the majority are GEPs.

LA.b actually is useful for the first time, in contrast to LA.b. no further detail shall be discussed out of fear.

pictures are not done by me, i do not claim any credit, please.

the year 4 IB students have just returned from their Leadership Developement Programme in Kluang.

it was hella fun. very good.

hill of lovegrass. shitty toilets, swarms of flies, muddy muddy ground and teddy bear lovers.

fresh air, cool breeze, noisy tents, good food (or was it the hunger?), instructers and waterbomb wars.

justin (maximus??) as the titans leader. we won the jaguars :D

i must say i did actually learn quite a few things, quite a few things.

and i got to know alot more people.
