waiting room

as i sit, hunched on the purple and unsympathising sofa, i wait for my appointment. the room is void and the air is stale like plastic. i am occupied with the thoughts too tedious and vague to describe.

an uneventful half an hour passes.

then unexpectedly, i feel a sudden chill at my foot. i notice that the sofa is covered in rime. the floor is ice cold and my feet are frozen blue. my toes benumbed and my ears are crisp. what an arctic situation. i aquire a brain freeze, awkwardly. the sheer inconvenience is overwhelming and i break out in icy tears.

a cantankerous nurse approaches me and informs me that my turn has arrived. but i reply coldly that i simply cannot move my self. she stares menacingly at me but i am coldhearted and would not budge for such a uncivilised woman. i reply that i will have to wait for the ice to thaw but she acts as if she has just heard an alien language. she waves her elbows incomprehensively in the air and lets out a barbaric grunt, then proceeds to stomp out of the room. i chuckle discreetly at her puerile behavior.

so, for today's topic in the series-of-uninteresting-and-useless-but-informative-topics,
a comparison between radiohead's lead (usually lead) guitarist jonny greenwood and bloc party's lead guitarist russel lissack.

Jonathan Richard Guy Greenwood was born in 1971 in Oxford, England and has been with the band radiohead since, forever. he plays the guitar and other intruments including the organ, viola, harmonica, xylophone etc. his brother is also in the same band, playing bass.

Russell Lissack was born in 1981 in Chingford, England. plays in the band bloc party.

so why would anyone ever compare these two people?!?!?!?!?
why?!?!!?

well, because they have similar haircuts..






hmm, can you spot the difference? well, one of them is jonny greenwood and the other is russell lissack (surprise!)
they have that haircut la, thats why must compare them.
and they are born a decade apart. both dropped out of school to join their bands on tour.

hello. i'm updating.

last two weeks were spent working in TECH semiconductor. much better than expected, and the people there were really nice. so got to know a few people and a few other things, and this and that and this and that. there was also this coffe-making machine (which was free to use) so that kept me happy :3

my favorite part of working was breakfast, lunch and tea. i thought the food was great. yum yum.

AND... at the end of the two weeks, the people in the HR dept (which was where i was working) gave me this huge-giant-yellow-furry-soft-toy duck which had orange legs :D

maybe i'll take a picture of the duck and post it. then delete it in case people think i collect soft-toys or something...which i don't by the way...not like i'm trying to hide anything... you know...er...
